B.Sc Honours in Microbiology

‘Microbiology’, from the name implies, is the study of organisms that are usually too ‘small’ to be observed by the unaided eye. Originated far, far ago, from the time of human evolution, these ‘micro’ organisms have become the interior part and parcel of the ecosystem and thus even the human has become desperately dependent leading to the formation of an interdependent society. Thus, life without the microorganism is not possible as you can never expect wines, antibiotics, vitamins, amino acids bread along with a thousand of daily commodities without micro-organisms. Therefore, the study with Microbiology as a subject will help to build the golden career of young minds.
