M.Sc in Biochemistry
Biochemistry - the science concerned with the chemical constituents of the entire spectrum of life forms along with the reactions and processes they undergo, i.e. it encompasses large areas of cell biology, of molecular biology and of molecular genetics. Biochemistry and medicine are intimately related, in fact, a sound knowledge of biochemistry is prerequisite for the rational practice of medical and related health diseases. Apart from this, biochemical knowledge also help us to get improved crops in agricultural field and also help us to understand the harmful effect which today pollution has on every biological component of biosphere. Thus it has a great scope in pharmaceuticals, agricultural, chemical etc. industries as well as in hospitals and clinical laboratories.
